In this application, the end user was having trouble maintaining proper traction between the drive wheels and the rails underneath due to a combinatin of wear on the rails and material buildup. The drive wheels were rigidly fixed to the conveyor body, so any irregularities in the rail would prevent the drive wheel from moving the conveyor.
Our solution was to install a modified ROSTA ESL unit under each drive wheel. This allows the wheel to move up and down as the conveyor drives, keeping constant contact between the drive wheels and the rail.
